439538 2006-03-22 01:27:00 The price of oil at service stations is a "bit" exorbitant, too. ;) It's nearly as bad a rip off as the water they sell in little bottles.
Or the price of milk!!!! Milk costs more per litre than petrol. Milk is sourced from cows locally on a daily basis and goes through a fairly simple production and distribution process. Petrol is sourced from oil which takes millions of years to form, the oil is sourced from overseas and goes through an expensive extraction, refining and distribution process. :illogical

Does anyone have any local figures / statistics on the number of hectolitres of milk consumed versus petrol used?
