438923 2006-03-17 22:18:00 BTW, do they still have Footrot Flats in the Southland Times?

Yes, an excellent Kiwi icon cartoon.

Sorry to hear about the accident Pctek. At least it explains why I couldn't contact you yesterday - just ringing to see how you were settling in. Talk about arriving with a bang. :)

438924 2006-03-18 00:21:00 Er no, he didn't break my foot. I did. He just screamed and ranted and punched inanimate objects. Bit unfair, I didn't decide to squash my car into his for a laugh....At least until he noticed my friends daughter - she got a big seatbelt bruise and a possible cracked rib. She was sitting sideways with the belt on.

Actually lucky he didn't hit us, we would be dead - he had a Cortina.

On the front page of the paper is a general article of 3 accidents within a few minutes of each other. We were the Bowmont St lot - but there was 3 of us not 4. And we weren't discharged from the hospital - I gave up waiting as there was total chaos there - the towie said there were 6 all up last night - 1 fatal.

I have no plaster on the foot as I have tried 3 times with that hospital so I give up - I'll see the GP on Monday instead. Its not too bad now anyway - I can hobble. Codiene is a wonderful thing. And husbands splitting axe makes a good walking stick.

My website is so out of date, the house is still not sorted, so much to do....

Neighbours were on the doorstep 3 seconds after we arrived.....guy down a bit is nice, and couple next door, the other next door is a bit um. She came from Ch/ch and didn't want to be here apparently.

438925 2006-03-18 00:29:00 If you go to the hospital around 2 or 3pm there shouldn't be too much of a wait. Friday & Saturday nights are always chaotic & with Yesterday being Saint Patty's day, there would have been even more patrons than the usual Friday night. Greven (91)

(I was wondering about the shop coz I thought it might be something risible like a SafetyWare shop or the AA or wot.)
