| 692331 | 2008-07-26 05:10:00 | I have just reinstalled everything, including Vista, and cannot get WMP to run .avi (films) files. I have WMP V.11 installed. The programme will play music, but not videos. I suspect that it needs some codecs and have searched advice on the MS website and although there is much on WMP, I have been unable to find anything that might resolve this problem. Everything was fine before the re installation and I have never encountered this problem before. Bill |
