| 439123 | 2006-03-19 04:06:00 | After the arrival of our 3rd child my wife told me we had to cut back on expenses and I had to give up drinking beer. I was not a big drinker, sometimes a 6-pack on weekends. Anyway, I gave it up but I noticed the other day when she returned from grocery shopping the receipt included $48 for makeup. I said, "Wait a minute I've given up beer and I've joined a carpool but you haven't given up anything!" She said, "I buy that makeup so I can look pretty for you." Out of frustration I said, "Well that's what the beer was for!" I'm not sure if she'll be back. |
