| 438946 | 2006-03-23 10:08:00 | Fascinating. I well remember Davey Crocket. We kids used to love the school term holidays when there was a special children's program on the radio at 9:00am. Can't remember who compered it but I do remember a song about "Pete Peterson" who was a Swedish lumberjack. We had a chap in Invercargill called Uncle Clarrie at 4YZ. He did wonderful childrens childrens programs. Sort of an Aunt Daisy (whom I do not remember) for the kids. |

She used to start, Good morning good morning what a beautiful day today." I would look out the window and it was hosing down in Wellington. 2YC in the evening for Mozart and assorted other composers. I must admit I grew to appreciate music though. |
