| 693229 | 2008-07-29 05:02:00 | Just bought a 4GB flash drive and tried to make it bootable with HP Drive Key Boot Utility (downloaded from HP site) and my old Win98 floppy Boot disk. Followed the steps (HP) very closely but could not get it to work! I have done it before with my old flash drive but couldn't do it this time. Any better utility program other than HP that will work? |

NOT all USB flash drives are bootable. It's a Transcend JetFlash V10. How do I know whether it is bootable or not bootable? Is it stated any where? |

| 693234 | 2008-07-29 09:48:00 | Yup, but not all USB flash drives are bootable tho. The Sandisk 1 GB I've got here. All I had to do was get a 98 bootdisk from bootdisk.com extract it, then copy the files to it. That was it, it was bootable. |
