441230 2006-03-29 09:06:00 Self preservation is high on the priority list of life for me at the moment, and id say alot of people here would admit the same.....

Oh yeah I hear that sister

But im not really sure the rest of the crew here got the gist of what i was on about.........

This is normal. Do not adjust your reality.

Why dont we let others help in our lives? why can we not just be grraceful and accept help? or words of comfort???

Why can we not just walk down the street and go meet the next pf1 person?
i have met some really great ones offline..... and the support has been great, both by pc and personal life issues....

Hmm. I think most people feel that by asking for help they are admitting a weakness. Kiwi men are good at this.

Asking for help in what ever way you choose can be difficult. Some peoples way of reaching out just may not be recognised which is unfortunate. Thats where good friends are great ;)

sam has jogged a memory here . . . . . . . . .

Are we so busy with life trying to preserve who we think we are, what we do, and how we are us or what we think is us? . . . . . . . that all others in our lives taken 2nd place?

and when we take a change in direction we lose where we were? in being us? in our life? and our strength of knowing who and what we are?

oooooooooh
um sorry never meant to get that heavy . . . . :waughh:

Life has lots of "heavy" moments . Something to do with the human condition . We seek answers . . . not sure if we find them all .

441236 2006-03-30 06:41:00 Douglas Adams has it sorted: The answer to life, the universe, and everything (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Answer_to_Life,_the_Universe,_and_Everything) .
There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something more bizarrely inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened

Well T I assume you think socialism will reduce the threat of war.
Looking at the world at present I would say the Capitalist countries are the least like to use violence against it's people.Man going about his business freely is more likely to feed it's population than some socialist mob such as Zimbabwe etc etc.
I think you will find that all the medical progress today is mostly brought about by capitalist firms, etc etc.
