| 440156 | 2006-03-27 10:35:00 | I think it is over exposed, especially when watching the commonwealth games, I mean is it really neccesary? I all for it, just not every 10 mins. | rob_on_guitar (4196) | ||
| 440157 | 2006-03-27 13:27:00 | I also think it's over-exposed . Last year it was banned from ANZAC Cove and we were all surprised . :waughh: Surely we have the right to perform a war dance on foreign soil! Soil owned by a previous enemy :waughh: . As NZers we have the right to perform a war dance at the drop of a hat! Personally I think this whole cultural thing has got out of hand we we can't even open a can of beans without the local Iwi performing a cultural greeting . IMHO the Haka is part of NZ Rugby tradition and belongs there . I don't really have an issue with it neing performed after major sporting achievements - but not for a Silver of Bronze medal . I don't mean to belittle the Silver of Bronze status, but they're not worthy of top honour . |
