693447 2008-07-30 02:05:00 No, I have now abandoned trying to get NT onto that domain :)

I'm using Windows XP Pro (a workstation and a VM) and Server 2003 (VM).

693451 2008-07-30 02:52:00 And the XP has joined the domain?.....will check my setting.....

Ok, 1st thing is to ensure the group policy you created is in the same OU as your XP computer accounts, then right click the policy and select link enabled and enforced...

693452 2008-07-30 03:10:00 XP has joined the domain AFAIK.

I can log in to a user account on the server from either of the two workstations.

Not sure what OU means, but here's my group policy management screens and user accounts (JWCS User 01-03). Are Users and Domain users the same??

My domain is called JWCS.
