First install of Win Vista bad
Second install success
Then overclocked CPU from 2.7GHz to 3.027GHz - AMD Ath 62 X2
Recently getting BSOD :horrified error caused by win32k.sys and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Also something inside the case, maybe HDD not sure, is making scratching noises on the odd occasion, like the HDD platter is being scratched by the magnet head or something... I don't know

What to do???

693591 2008-07-30 09:38:00 Dont overclock it? Set it back to its default settings

Reconfigure the BIOS save the settings.

693595 2008-07-30 15:03:00 I had this problem when I first got the PC in my sig. Turned out to be voltage related, try upping the voltage on your RAM a bit. DaveBritton (7395)

generally a ram problem......when you o/c you need to have ram that will handle the level of o/c.......I run twinmos ram in my home pc and it's o/c'd from 2.8ghz to 3.2ghz and runs absolutely stable.....other ram i've tried wont clock that high....

if that was the case it would be a dead duck VERY quickly
