1429615	2016-12-09 04:29:00	I have been searching and searching the web about this. However virtually all responses seem to centre around cell phone to PC, Outlook -- or iPhone to PC etc. It seems a minefield out there ! Essentially we want to make and keep all our contacts sychronised across devices. Some contact info on one device is probably better in some respects, but better in other respects than the other device. On our PC the email info is best, whereas, not surprisingly the info on our cell phone has cell phone numbers more up to date. Both PC and laptop run Windows 10. On our PC we currently use Live Mail, which is rapidly becoming a pain in the ass. Probably change to Thunderbird, though we do have 2007 M/S Office, inc Outlook, which is another possibility? Any thoughts in that direction most appreciated! Is there a magic wand please ? Or what method involves the least compromises ?	Misty (368)
1429616	2016-12-09 09:53:00	Easy as, backup contacts to Google account( on your phone) . You can throw away the phone, get another one and two minutes later you're back to the old. 1429617	2016-12-09 10:27:00	My other smartphone a few yrs ago had the LG Software Suite that allowed it by plugging the phone into USB. I could even do the calender also. Newer phones now - no and the same brand as before. The way is if you use Gmail. Under your phone at the contacts save them not in your phone section but with your Google account. So when the phone automatically syncs usually on Wi-Fi they will be updated. So online at Gmail.com as well. If you use Outlook.com mail, then use your Outlook account when you save the contacts and the calender entries if you need that also.	Nomad (952)
