2016-11-19 22:14:00 | Hi guys. I've been thinking about changing ISP's for sometime. Not been happy with Spark, since it changed it's name. Last 5 monthly bills have had cockup's, wops can I use that word, I really frustrated with them. Though about MyRepublic but not all that happy with their promotions. Anyone have any better ideas? We paying about $100 a month for the 100/20 olan and speeds are pretty good, also national calling & wiring. Min 90's and about 22 uploads. Be interested in your comments? :)

Spark and for that matter all ISP's are capable of far better results then what you were seeing which combined with the notorious nature for stock modems to be terrible would mean that you're likely going to have to spend some money to fix this problem. I think it would be most helpful to discuss the best and most cost effecient option to suit ianhnz needs :) |

2016-11-20 04:56:00 | Geekzone been reports that pple's evening speeds have sig dropoffs. Re: My Republic. I read that 2Degrees, Orcon and Telecom Spark are the 3 best performers. From price 2D seems better cos they discount the first year for the 12 months. 2D also have SuperGold discounts - don't forget their $10 discount if you have a $30+ monthly mobile plan also.

2016-11-20 05:53:00 | been with 2d for 4 years, was on fibre in Christchurch and ADSL2 since moving back (no fibre or VDSL available here). We have their Fritzbox which was what Snap were giving out before the buy out by 2D, been rock-solid the whole time as has been the service. | gary67 (56) | |
2016-11-21 05:47:00 | All the ISPs pretty have the same prices really. Slingshot I saw their mailout and it said $60/mo for 12 months, fiber internet, not sure what speed. Unlimited usage. $5 more for landline. All I say is that I have the old ASUS router with My Republic - well someone else. Got the Fritzbox now with 2D and the reception is so much better.
