1427685 2016-10-20 11:42:00 Hello,

I want to buy a microwave for small cooking requirement for myself only (just one person). The tasks will be heating water, warming up vegs, tea etc.

I don't have any ideas of the Brand as I haven't used any oven in the past!

Please let me know!

Thanks

1427686 2016-10-20 18:25:00 Microwaves are great for heating stuff up, but terrible for actual cooking.

I like Panasonic personally, but I'd check out Pricespy and Priceme and see who has the best price - avoid Haier.

1427688 2016-10-20 19:41:00 We bought a Panasonic Inverter Microwave. (no rotating plate) We previously had a Panasonic normal one with a rotating glass plate. This was a far better one (in our opinion than the new one)

ThanksI see from your IP you are located in India. This forum is in New Zealand. The suggested brands may not be available.

I should add I am watching this thread, so if another new member pops up with some "suggestions"....
