| 1429378 | 2016-12-02 17:23:00 | We have recently moved and the power here is 110v, not 230v or whatever it is in NZ. I've checked the power supplies for our devices and most say 100v-240v input, but a couple say 230v-240v input. Is it safe to use the 110-240 with a straight NZ to US adapter? Is it possible to use the 230-240 with some kind of adapter or do we need to buy a different power pack? The primary device with this is the kid's Nintendo Wii U. Any suggestions? If we have to replace the Wii U will their games work on a US or Mexico one or will we need to replace those too? Cheers, Mike. |

Just make sure what you buy has output voltage and current equivalent or close. Your other devices may be ok on 110 volts if that is clearly stated in the instruction manual. |

| 1429381 | 2016-12-03 03:39:00 | I read on another page that I should be ok testing them out as with lower voltage they would just not work if not enough voltage rather than damaging the device. Does this sound correct? Cheers, Mike. |

They SHOULD not be an issue . Not they same as WOULD NOT :-) Check the voltage on the device. If its not 100% clear, just dont use it, or take the risk, your choice :-) Rather than dangerous plug adaptors, see if you can just replace the power cable . |
