1427632 2016-10-19 03:01:00 Hi guys, I've got some fairly large files in PDF format that have been sent to me via Dropbox.

Just to make the document more manageable on a Tablet, I need to erase quite a few pages leaving just those I need to work with, i.e. saving me scrolling through just to find the only pages I need.

Anybody?

1427633 2016-10-19 03:24:00 If you have Office 365 ( 2013 /2016) you can open a PDF in Word, it will convert to a word document, you can then edit to your hearts content and resave as PDF.

Other office suites may do but never tried, only know Office 2013 /2016 will.

1427634 2016-10-19 03:32:00 You can also "Print to PDF" any selected page/range of pages you require thus making a new PDF document of the parts you want. The original PDF remains unchanged. CliveM (6007)
1427635 2016-10-19 03:40:00 As Wainuitech suggests other office suites will probably work as well. I just tested with Open Office 4 on this machine and it will let me do it just fine. CliveM (6007)
1427636 2016-10-19 07:04:00 Or do it easily online with small pdf (smallpdf.com/) - use the split function. Upload your pdf - select pages. Then download as a new file....but maybe file size limit. kahawai chaser (3545)

Have the rest of the day off.

I'm paying NZ$16/month, but it's outlived its usefulness now so I'm about to can it and revert to 2007.
