| 694117 | 2008-08-01 08:33:00 | i have problems with my network card as when i ever i reset the computer my computer has to search for a network in order to get the internet. When it doesnt find one it connection is strictly lan but no internet connectivity. It keeps saying that i have multiple networks which i dont . So i have to keep disconnecting the ethernet cable from the back so that it can search again till it finds the right network for the internet. Is the way i can set the right network settings so it stops searching for other networks??plz help!!! | cotutaha (12204) | ||

I'm thinking you might have a couple of boxes acting as DHCP servers & only 1 gives you a good internet connection. Your PC will get an address & more importantly, a gateway IP, randomly from 1 or the other if there are 2 or more. |
