Wochenend Und Sonnenschein (users.crocker.com), which being freely translated :) is also known as 'Happy Days Are Here Again. (3 MB mp3 file) This was a tune sung by The Comedian Harmonists, an extremely popular group in Germany and around the world during the late 1920s and through the 30s. A film about them was made by Joseph Vilsmaier in 1997, well worth seeing, it's also available on DVD. |
