What annoys me the most is the way people with no medical training and no qualifications at all persist in spouting things like, "smoking causes cancer", "smoking causes heart disease", "smoking will kill you". Always,of course leaving out words like "can" or "may". I have been ,and still am, a heavy smoker. 30/40 a day for over sixty years. My doctor tells me a teenager would be happy with my blood pressure. No heart or lung problems. I'm half blind, but no one has tried to blame that on tobacco! Reckon I'll die at 100 with a cigarette in my mouth and I'll bet someone will say "smoking killed him" |
