| 442613 | 2006-04-01 01:36:00 | The National Station!!! Just listened to the head of ICANN Internet organization Vint Cerf. He was talking about how TCPIP works. Who cares about pop songs when you have this? Nothing nicer than a sunny saturday morning cycling over the port hills listening to Kim Hill talking to interesting people. |

| 442614 | 2006-04-01 04:13:00 | Well... Regularly as defined as actually choose the songs as opposed to letting Amarok cycle its way through several thousand bits of music in my collection... Blyth power - A folkrock band from the north of England. Tool - Me likes intense stuff. Evanesence - Amy Lee is scrummy. Yes i can be superficial. Disturbed - In antisapation of the concert to come April 20. Um..... there are others but i can't think of any for the moment. :D |

| 442616 | 2006-04-01 04:55:00 | Stevie Ray Vaughn . . . . I love roadhouse rock . Jimi Hendrix . . . . . . . what do I need to say here? The Doors w/Jim Morrison . . . . . . . . an original bad boy with an attitude and good lyrics but no tonal capacity . Bugs Henderson . . . . . smooth and oh-so talented guitar Luciano Pavorotti . . . . THE tenor voice of the 20th century; Master of the High-C's kd Lang . . . . . . a little twang and a lot of solid performance . . . vocally probably the greatest female (?) crooner alive Linda Rhondstadt . . . . smooth female (yes, definitely female!) sexpot of a singer with an oh-so kissable face . Itzhac Perlman . . . . another one of those "once in a century" performers who emotes full of feelings and tone with his fiddle and has NO attitude to get in the way . Dean Martin . . . . a guy who sings like other people breathe . . . naturally and classy, just don't allow any open flames around him . The Everly Brothers . . . . imagine having these guys back you up on you cd! Matching voices and that Southern Twang in the early days of R&R . Ike & Tina Turner . . the old days . . . . steamroller rock and roll at it's best with lots of shimmer and shimmy . . . . low down gutsy tones or hissing lyrics with steaming sex appeal . Phil Collins . . . . because he can do anything he wants and do it well . . . . . electronics or acccustic-wise and vocally . there are more . . . but you wanted a short (12) name list . . . . What I DON'T listen to . . . . :annoyed: Celtic, Fusion, electronica, brass bands, Don Ho, groups or singles with vulgarity in their names, martial music, techno, disco, accordian marching bands, sound tracks, Broadway musicals with titles like "Cats", "Midnight Express", Phantom of . . . yech!", avante-gard and with the exception of the Black-Eyed Peas (BEP) . . . NO RAP! :yuck: |
