| 443951 | 2006-04-05 22:12:00 | You might like to sing this as you lay some poison.... www.sing365.com I'd like to take you now on wings of song, as it were, and try and help you forget perhaps for a while your drab, wretched lives. Here's a song all about spring-time in general, and in particular, about one of the many delightful pastimes the coming of spring affords us all. Spring is here, a-suh-puh-ring is here. Life is skittles and life is beer. I think the loveliest time of the year is the spring. I do, don't you? 'Course you do. But there's one thing that makes spring complete for me, And makes ev'ry Sunday a treat for me. All the world seems in tune On a spring afternoon, When we're poisoning pigeons in the park. Ev'ry Sunday you'll see My sweetheart and me, As we poison the pigeons in the park............. Excellent Netchicken, Tom Lehrer on form. Funnily enough this song was on National Radio last Sunday afternoon. |

Does that count? :D As for poisoning... ug, I couldn't do that  Besides, the gorgeous flock of finches that live in my hedge might get into it. :( Foxy - as far as safety is concerned.. yeah very valid point. I do live very close to my neighbours, and funny you should happen to mention it, but two days after I moved in here, a neighbour's brat was shooting a pellet gun next door, and one shot whistled through the branches of a tree not ten feet away from me. Boy did I give him a verbal bollocking! Stu - a mynah is a prolific breeder and regarded as a pest almost everywhere in the world. Sometimes known as an Indian Mynah, or Coolie Mynah. Bob - thanks for the offer - I might take you up on it! ;) |

I have no idea who you are! What about letting the other neighbours and the SPCA know what your planning to do. Maybe the SPCA will give you some hints on what to do. |
