| 694683 | 2008-08-03 22:21:00 | I have been having a "No Memory" problem recently. Computer stops and gives a no memory card and offers to reboot. Also when I boot I have to wait about 10 seconds after windows loads before I can do anything. When I switch off I get up to a minutes delay before I get the "windows is closing down" card. I have emptied temp folder and temp Internet files. Have run Spybot 1.6. Done a deep scan with Nod 32. No difference. Win XP pro. 4 gigs DDR3 1600 ram Any suggestions |

Download the iso, burn to a cd, then boot from the cd. www.memtest.org Direct download link: www.memtest.org I think running 2 passes would be enough to confirm that your ram is fine Also, any possibility of a screenshot? Cause a can't quite understand what's happening |

| 694685 | 2008-08-03 22:35:00 | Could be the pagefile.sys file? Right mouse on my computer / properties / advanced / performance / setting / advanced / change. Change it to no paging file, then set. Reboot. Then go back to it after and change it to system managed size, and click on set, reboot again. It'll recreate it See if it makes any diff Or something is having probs loading on startup and something maybe hanging, when you shutdown |
