| 694570 | 2008-08-03 11:52:00 | Hi, I have clicked on the internet icon in the system tray. Got to the Network and Sharing Centre. And clicked 'View Status' That always tells me the speed is 100.0 Mbps. This must be wrong as I am with Orcon with a maximum download speed of 8Mbps. So how does one find the speed? Thanks |

Thanks That 100.0 Mbps is the speed of the connection between your computer and your modem/router. |

| 694577 | 2008-08-05 08:46:00 | I've been running isposure and found the speed changes slightly over time(according to online report anyway). But correct me if I'm wrong but I think isposure is measuring the speed between you and your ISP, not the speed of your ISPs internet feed to that connection? I base this on the speed fluctuations I notice browsing and downloading and using speedtest ( http://www.speedtest.net/ )to different locations.
