A lot of folks use Ascent, but to me they're overrated and can be a bit pricey. But I'd still go with them than any other unknown because they do have a good reputation. |

| 443542 | 2006-04-03 19:53:00 | Good point, and does sister need someone to hold her hand when it all turns to custard? If so she had beter get one from a personalized computer store. My rule of thumb: never buy a computer from a store that also sells washing machines, or food. |

| 443547 | 2006-04-03 22:20:00 | Hah! Like we believe that! Or do they always walk away with a washing machine instead of a pc? :pWell that's the conspiracy of course, coz her hubbie's a plumber. So she advises on what sort of PC to buy, customer gets a washing machine, calls her out to say it's not working and can't access the Internet, she advises you need a plumber, hubbie goes out, and advises needs a better version of PC, she goes back and fulfils the customers' requirements. All happy, and that's a success story of triple dipping! :) |
