| 695122 | 2008-08-06 00:05:00 | Hello members I have been using USB backup drives for some time. Since I have a MBP and want/need to work through a VM(most likely Fusion) I need to change to a LAN backup device. USB is apparently using high CPU in Fusion(and other VM's). Can someone recommend any devices. The main use of this device is work related with some access for other machines for to a partition with photos and other media. Thanks NT |

| 695123 | 2008-08-06 00:32:00 | I Have put in a couple of the Linksys NAS200 As shown Here (www-nz.linksys.com) - you install one or two drives as per your own sizes, the unit attaches to the router, and have full remote access. Note: on the site, down the bottom is a demo on how to setup/install - no comment on the presenter , Idiot proof normally The RRP for the unit is around $290 + the hard drives Review example (reseller.co.nz) - look at different places and you will see different options, some come with drives already installed |

| 695124 | 2008-08-06 08:36:00 | Thanks WT Will my airport extreme be compatible with the Linksys Nas200? And most likely the cost of the drives is not included? Does anyone else have some positive experience with the Nas200? NT |
