446103 2006-04-13 13:03:00 Started the weekend off with a fine barbeque dinner under the moonlight. Now back to work for the next few days as usual, which will be only interupted by, um, you know, and some sleep. :) Greg (193)

446105 2006-04-13 21:43:00 I'm on the dole so public holidays are really just an irritation - not knowing what shop's open when :D

Was going to some friend's place where we're building a bridge across a creek but it's raining so here I am back at the comp.

Then 2moro off to Opua for a break, bit of sailing, prob a barbie up on a mate's bush section.

446107 2006-04-13 22:54:00 I initially went back to work on the gear, and as I thought would happen my back deterioated to the point I couldn't walk properly by day three, Which is a bonus as the entire reason I went full time with Computer Medic was due to ongoing back pain issues.

So now I have stepped into a foremans job, interspaced with driving around the country pricing work.

And of course a few comp jobs during the week.

To be honest I'm stoked to be out and about doing the work, Now i'm not confined to a little room with an unending que of broken comps....Im finding it difficult to get any enthusism for looking at broken comps at all.. Due to my hourly rate, overtime, expense account and a few fixit jobs Im making far better money, Dont have the stress of keeping a one man company above ground, and its awesome to be working with my oldboy and my 2 brothers.

Great times indeed. Now all I need to do is get that 2006 Hilux I spied on Trademe.....

Amusing comments on the goings on in Wanga.

Where is the Lord of The Rings exhibit?

I have a car and accomodation for me anyway.

446112 2006-04-14 20:16:00 Maybe you are living on another planet because tv3s weather tonight showed a massive high over the whole country which is fine weather, so how come you are getting rain have you left your hose pointing up to the roof and mistaken it for rain.
lol lol.

LOL....this reminds me of an amusing incident that happened to me last weekend.

We visited Rotorua for a few days. Stayed at a motel....very nice.

In the morning I opened the back door and found torrential rain, so went through to tell my wife about the awful weather and we'd have to change our plans with the grandchildren.

"Well", she said "it's lovely and sunny out the front".

I opened the front door, and yes, it was....beuatiful bright day.

So I went out the back and checked - still pouring. Only it wasn't rain.....the back door led into one of these solarium things with a spa tub and lots of plants....the rain was the automatic sprinkler system giving the plants their daily soak!
