| 445191 | 2006-04-10 09:34:00 | With the dollar now down to around 60-61 US cents, buying from Amazon is not so attractive as compared with the heady days of 70-75 cents. However the range of choice is so good that I'll still go there. I have bought from Amazon UK and Germany when the item has been unavailable in US, but generally CDs or DVDs are cheaper from Amazon US than Europe. |

Re Amazon though, it is just a marketplace as I understand it. Cheers Billy 8-{) I have bought thousands of books, always came via airmail and always quick. As for that comment above, not so. Second hand books are done via Amazon from individuals, and possibly some other things but the bulk of it is Amazon itself. |

Don't know what you are on about B T It is usually quicker to order from Amazon than a local site. Have bought many items from both amazon.com and amazon.co.uk and service has been excellent. |
