| 695368 | 2008-08-06 08:53:00 | Hi guys, I am considering buying a Sony RDR-HX950 dvd hard drive recorder (is this a good buy?) and I was wondering if there is any way to record the video from a camcorder straight on to the hard drive via firewire? Like not playback mode from a dv tape, but straight from what the camera is seeing. Does that make sense? Thanks, Aonghas |

Then use a video editing program like Moviemaker / part of XP / windows to transfer it to the hdd, then use something like Nerovision or cdburnerxp to burn it to DVD. |
