695341 2008-08-06 06:33:00 I have a Sony Handy Cam 40GB DCR-SR46

I download the movie from hard drive of Camera onto to PC and then i burn the movie files (MPEG-2) onto DVD with no problem

Hoever when i play the DVD on my TV, it plays fine except after halfway
the video starts distroting and making n squeaky noise bit like when your Sky digital TV starts getting interrupted during boradcast and images start being jittery and audio is jittery too.

When i view the same clips on my PC they are playing fine hence nothing wrong with camera recording. Also during DVD buring i get no errors and everything appears to have gone smooth

Can someone advises whats happening and what if any fix for it?

Thanks

695345 2008-08-06 07:24:00 Also try turning the burn speed down from it's setting often these things are auto set to burn at fastest possible speed. I have had photo's not burn properly before and winding the speed down corrected it gary67 (56)
695346 2008-08-07 21:51:00 I'd say it's a dodgy DVD. If you're using some cheapo ones, get a few decent quality ones like Verbatims & try those. autechre (266)
