| 696124 | 2008-08-09 11:13:00 | Hi there, I appear to be having a bit of a problem with Youtube in that the volume of anything I select is very quiet, while everything else (PC Beep, Windows media player, music on start up and close down) works fine. The problem appears to have been asked about a few times before with no solution provided: Unsure about Bob Doe NZ's request here... pressf1.pcworld.co.nz pressf1.pcworld.co.nz I have: *uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Flash player *checked youtube volume and their help section (came down to check AV/ Firewall) *checked volume levels on other programs (Winamp, WMP, etc) *updated other programs that use sound. I'm running XP with SP2, 2GB RAM, 1.73Mhz centrino processor on an ASUS A6Vm laptop, with Avast anti virus, the only thing I have changed recently- is there anything with Avast that could mess with this? I had a look around the Avast program, couldn't find anything. I've kinda run out of options, can anyone shed some light on this for me please? Any help on this is appreciated. Cheers! |
