| 449277 | 2006-04-25 00:20:00 | Is it possible that we can light two bulbs individually from a two in one switch board but only from one power supply line. Thanks. | ramu (726) | ||

| 449282 | 2006-04-26 12:19:00 | Here's a link, and judging by the way they misspelled the word color (colour), it might be a UK or Australian site....www.diydoctor.org.uk It is an English site SJ and their wiring does not conform to NZ legal requirements. They also use a ring-mains system which can be very dangerous for the uninitiated. I would not follow the instructions on that site. It is legal for ramu to install the wiring, but not legal for him to connect it to the power. That must be done by a licensed electrician. I know that many kiwis do their own wiring, but they put their home at risk if they don't have it connected and certified because their insurance will not pay out on losses incurred through electrical fires if the work was illegally carried out. There is nothing an insurance company likes more than an out from their responsibilities. Cheers Billy 8-{) |

I bet this is more like NZ standards (home.howstuffworks.com) ....forgive me, as I was swayed by the spelling and thought it might be something youse guys use. |
