| 448899 | 2006-04-23 22:02:00 | Disappointing. Concrete floor, tables in odd places. TV blaring next to us as well as loud music coming from the room next door. 2 people ordered wedges with sour cream. When it came no mention was made that marscapone cheese was subsitituted. A complaint did get them taken off the bill. Apparently they ran out of sour cream. 1 person ordered seafood salad with crab meat and shrimp. Was told after, no crab meat. OK, just shrimp. Later again, sorry no shrimp either. another 2 ordered steamed veges and mash with their mains. The steamed veges were very hard to find as it seemed to be mostlyy mash - and lumpy at that. another 2 were asked which gravies they wanted with the mains, one chose, another lfet it up to the chef. Both supposedly got mushroom gravy however while there was a half dozen slices of mushroom on top of the meat no-one had any gravy at all. Or any jus or whatever. The thyme crusted chicken had no thyme anywhere near it. All the meals took ages to arrive. Won't bother again. |

| 448903 | 2006-04-24 00:44:00 | The only restraurant I would ever recommend would be Mcdonalds, wether you like it or not. The quality is mostly very consistant. I was recommending the hogs breath for a while(great steak), but the last 3 times I have been there the service has been crap and the meals only just acceptable. |

Maybe you should put your review on that site. It's really horrible going out for a meal and being disappointed - tends to put you off trying out new places without firm recommendations and even then there is no guarantee. The Cabbage Tree here in ChCh is quite nice but I wouldn't go there for a really special occasion. |

Maybe you should put your review on that site . . I know - read that . Maybe they had an off night . Or as my friend said later, the chef was P****ed and they had to quickly get the cleaner to do the meals . . . . :D |
