447779 2006-04-20 03:52:00 haha very interesting. I was offerred the chance to become an academic and skipped to wash dishes in a hotel in Perth instead. No regrets:D Known a few people who did work at Auck Uni and had lunch with them in the staff caff, pretty cool I thought, though there was some fustianism. (cf fuddy-duddy) mark c (247)
447780 2006-04-20 04:08:00 The bad was: Relaxed atmosphere"relaxed atmosphere" = bad? Hmm I woulda thought that would be ALL good.

Anyway, thx for your feedback... my missus is applying for a mid/senior role there. She's really excited about the prospect, as I am for her.

Well it reminded me of working for the Post Office (before it became Telecom) - all those um, people who would have otherwise been unemployed, vegetating their days away...that sort of relaxed.....

My accountant works there too - she's enjoying it...
