449371 2006-04-25 11:24:00 I was about to post a BBC link to a free look at the OED but they've removed it! Tarnation.

I seem to recall Graham or Rob linking to the OED somehow - any suggestions anyone? I'm not inclined to pay 195 pounds a year just for a dictionary, supreme as it might be.

Good suggestion Paul. I browse the Invercargill City Library online but haven't tried for the OED.
