451204 2006-05-01 23:25:00 I can't find much comment on Inspire as a broadband provider. Anyone care to pass on their experience?

Or Xnet, Slingshot & Actrix for that matter. All have plans that suit me but as smaller providers they don't seem to generate much comment in the forums.

451205 2006-05-02 03:06:00 Xnet is awesome. Very good help desk, fast response times. roddy_boy (4115)

There’s a bit on the forums about Slingshot

but as smaller providers they don't seem to generate much comment in the forums.

Maybe because most users of those isps are happy or they have not found out about PressF1 ;)

451207 2006-05-02 03:48:00 Thanks Roddy, Xnet will probably be my choice but Inspire had a larger data cap in my price range so was curious about them. Hokonui (8280)
451208 2006-05-02 04:03:00 Actrix has really cool caps, daily, instead of monthly, which means you can blow it out, sleep on it, and the next morning, everything's fast again....

My plan, 2Mbps/128, ~21gb/mth (700mb/day).. $55 (old pricing for old customer)....

Speeds are variable though, you're lucky to get downloads of 150KB/s if you're off peak and on a good day, might go down to 50-100KB/s for most of the day...

451210 2006-05-02 10:19:00 Only have dialup here but Inspire is my ISP. I was with Paradise but changed last year after reading that Inspire has been NZ's most popular ISP as far as satisfied customers are concerned for the past 2 years. Source: NZ Consumer.

I am very happy with them.
