Roast sheep and mint sauce.
Gulyas.
Ravioli - not the shop variety.

Right now I'm cooking pot roast.
beef roast, pepper
carrot and onion chunks
parsley,bay leaf
red wine, bit of tomato paste
beef stock

Simmer and serve with more veges.

Medium rare rump with garlic-pepper seasoning with jacket potatoes on the side (my specialty, SWMBO loves it)
Or my other specialty, spag bolognaise (with nearly every flavouring in the pantry thrown in ;))

Know what you mean, too much chilli and hardly any aromatic spices. And a dumping of colouring.


Roast pork with all the trimmings
Lamb roasted for five hours on a low heat
Chicken with all the trimmings
Homemade mince which doubles as a pie filling
Spag Bol
Nasi Goreng
Steamed Chicken nibbles with preserved veges, dried mushrooms and fungus.
BBQ Pork
Homemade pizza with homemade yeast dough base
Corned beef and rice. Or potato.
Fish Cakes
Meatloaf
Bacon bone soup
My signature dish. Prawn meat stuffed into bean curd cubes and then deep-fried. Served with four different sauces.

450576 2007-07-08 09:46:00 Panfried rack of lamb (medium rare) with 3 herbs (fresh), a nice sauce and season vegetables (quick blanch) on a bed of roasted potatoes.

My foreign food fav would be Japanese, something raw and fresh and pretty or Japanese pub food.

I could say oysters or crayfish but hardly have those for yrs.
