Please pardon the complexity of my sentence. :) Start > Run > type in "cmd.exe" without the quotes In the window popped up, type "ping www.google.com" (again, without the quotes) Depending on the connection, the computer may successfully send data to the Google website and have them returned. You will be able to know this from the result message that follows the line "ping www.google.com" Cheers :) gave it a go out of interest got 217milliseconds average response and no packets lost |
