| 696456 | 2008-08-11 14:04:00 | Arent those for Linux?? He's using Windows Depends if he means gateway or workstation firewall. I assumed he was looking for a Windows one for his workstation, but threw those in anyway just in case - Stu's smart enough to figure out if they're not applicable to him. |

| 696458 | 2008-08-11 20:25:00 | It says Windows firewall cannot be displayed because the associated service is not running do you want to start window firewall/internet connection sharing service. I click yes and it says windows cannot start ics Go to start/run, type services.msc. Look for Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) Change the startup type to automatic, then click on start, then apply See if it starts. If it doesnt you may have a virus or something Post a hijackthis log. Its in my sig below. Or scan your system with a virus scanner |

| 696460 | 2008-08-16 07:36:00 | Comodo is the best, my previous encounter with it ened in disaster because I happened to download a version which was only there for two days, and it happened to be bugged. I went back to Zone Alarm, but tried Comodo again as soon as I heard that the version i downloaded had bugs. It does not popup every single second like ZA, and says whether a program is safe or not in the popup. Here are results for Comodo's leaktests A few of the tests don't matter, thats why Comodo got 95% www.matousec.com |

| 696461 | 2008-08-21 08:32:00 | just thought i would add some feedback. tried Comodo again, it annoyed me so much it got ripped out. overly complicated. tried Online Armor but the firewall side let through changed programs. ie it leaks like a sieve unless you have the very annoying program control on (which controls every program and every action they do). |
