What is wrong with a floppy? I have one in this, sure I didn't buy it but I had one lying around spare :) They maybe obsilete BUT they come in handy

Because you can just use a USB pen drive. You can just use emulators if you are real desparate and bootable CDs.

As an example, macs haven't had them for years (and I haven't had requests for an external USB floppy drive for a very long time).

I use bootable DVDs these days......

Why not put in a 5.25 inch floppy just in case ? ;)

But why? FDDs are $10. And I somehow don't think MAC owners flash their BIOSes...

I bought a floppy drive a few days ago. Only added $20.00 to my new computer. I have yet to put it the new case.

AMD 4400+ X2.
Kandalf Case with 550 Watt PSU. This as will probably go SLI. I will need another video card as I currently have to do this.

4 Gig Ram
PX 7900 GT TDH video.
2 X 200 Gig SATA Seagate drives
1 X 200 Gig Maxtor external USB2
1 X 160 Gig ATA Seagate drive.
And a few other bits.

Are sure you mean 5.25 rather than 3.5?

I considered a sli setup, but from what I read ,any gain is not worth the price.

Bridges are gone. I pulled a few bridge files out. Now I have no bridges where they should be, buts that not as noticeable as a Viaduct over a farm drain

A 5.5 floppy could be handy. Can you tell me where to buy disks for it.
?
