| 696360 | 2008-08-11 00:24:00 | Hi all, a client went and bought the photsmart 4385 (wireless) to go with his notebook, however the software wont install, gets to 2/4, writing to registry Hkey\LM\Services\Current control set\Enum\ and says access denied this key...blah blah...I have changed permissions on the registry and even run HP access denied utility which made 190 permission changes?...., however still no go. Stopping at registry writing Lead Technologies Inc!..... Have downloaded latest install package and even the drive only package, still stopping at the same place...... any ideas?... Oh, the laptop has already got 2 other HP Printer software\driver packages installed for different models......contemplating removing them, but not that desperate yet... |

| 696361 | 2008-08-11 00:46:00 | Shot in the dark - have you tried right clicking the exe file / run as administrator ? Also is this the XP or Vista OS. |
