697662 2008-08-16 07:56:00 use this program as it can be a download manager, you tube downloader and it can also convert from .flv to .mp4, .avi and .3gp ajleece (14085)
697663 2008-08-16 08:02:00 i use "any video converter, Free". it downloads the videos, can store them on your iPod, or on your computer... AND converts them to any file type of your choice! acronum (13577)

697666 2008-08-17 02:43:00 email them...?

That just worsens the problem (doesn't email use the same internet connection as the web browser does for you tube?)

Thanks,

I already have a download manager. How would I get FDM or mine to download (maybe add file type that I don't know) on the fast internet to write to CD or USB drive?

Thanks,

I need to know how to download it or at least find the file after viewed in IE. Once on computer with slow/unreliable/no connection can I just run the file?

697669 2008-08-17 04:02:00 This has been covered a fair few times on here...

Get the You Tube Downloader (http://youtubedownload.altervista.org/).

Save the .flv on the PC with net access.

Use the program to convert it to .wmv.

Put the wmv file on a CD or USB flash stick.

Take that to the PC with no net connection and play it from the CD / flash drive or copy to that PCs hard drive and play.

Perhaps?
