453272 2006-05-08 16:49:00 In an article from the BBC (news.bbc.co.uk) , the Beatles lost the second round in a prolonged lawsuit over copyright and logo infringement.

The case is going to appeal later on, but Apple has had to cough up 2M (insert ALT+0163 here) to pay cost of litigation so far. The case was brought by the Beatles and their survivors.

But Apple Corps can't complain - they got that 19 million payout when they first clashed in eary '90's.

And I bet the Beatles et al themselves ain't too worried... it's the corporate suits that're doing all the squabbling for their share of the golden egg.
