452043 2006-05-04 08:11:00 Hi there,

Has anyone heard about CAVE.ltd (email cave.ltd@gmail.com) ? A friend told me about it, and said that it was an e-mail based computer assistance thingy, where you e-mail a question, naming what sort of an answer you want, then you receive the answer (which varies in complexity) and you are charged depending on how complex an answer you asked for/received. Sort of like Google Answers, except for PC help. I was just wandering if anyone had tried it, and what it was like.

452044 2006-05-04 08:16:00 Why would someone pay for an answer thru email, if u can ask a ? here, and pay nothing.

Or use Google, or Yahoo. I wouldnt waste my time or money.

I must say I agree. Forums such as PCWORLD 'pressf1' forum are much more economical, and you could probably ask in a shop for free if all else fails.

452048 2006-05-04 08:23:00 I agree with tweak'e .. any business using a disposable email as the only contact (in this case gmail) should be doubted and best avoided. Myth (110)
