451706 2006-05-16 09:58:00 hey, my first post.
for years i have been hoping for telecom to get whats coming to them.
anyways, im likely to be lazy and just go ahead and ask: how long till we actually see this stuff happening and when will the user see it?

451709 2006-05-16 11:46:00 the legislation is going to go through in a year. we probably won't see results for a few months after that for the big cities & a year after the legislation going through for the lower priority places Greven (91)

they were already doing that when they thought Telecom had the government by the balls. Xtra don't have to give a good deal - they just have to make sure that most NZers associate broadband with them.

Before the other ISPs started doing TV ads, a lot of people thought that Xtra was the only option.
