| 452565 | 2006-05-07 02:54:00 | Sometime I will make the leap from dialup to broadband. Should I wait a month or two to get ADSL2+ or will this be for only the mega-buck-mega-gig-plans and not low-end users like myself? I would not want to be stuck with a 12 month contract and an 'old' ADSL modem if ADSL2+ is going to be the way to go. That announcement was made by Telecom BEFORE LLU. Will they still go ahead? Will someone else have the money? Will the world end before anything happens? Who knows? |

Latest news on it is here (www.computerworld.co.nz). Who knows whether it will go ahead? Maybe they'll rebuild their network entirely and leave the existing one for everybody else !! |
