2006-05-09 04:20:00 | Can't find an answer to this in the TM help files but no doubt there will be someone here who knows the answer. If an auction fails to meet the reserve and you don't then sell it to an under-bidder or change to a fixed price "Buy Now" but instead choose to relist and try again, do you pay a second listing fee? Cheers Billy 8-{)

2006-05-09 04:35:00 | HELP - SELLING - AFTER THE AUCTION CLOSES Re-listing your item You can list your item again by clicking the 'Relist button on the listing. You can also choose promotional options such as a featured or bold listing to increase the chance of a sale. If your classified expires and you didn't find a buyer then you can re-list it for free within 45 days of the ad closing. Quick re-list Auctions can be relisted using the Quick relist feature. This allows you to relist up to 25 items at once. To relist items, go to your Unsold items page, select the listings and click the 'Quick relist' button. You can Quick relist any items that haven't been withdrawn or relisted. Please note if you list an item using Quick relist, the previous bidders and watchers will not be notified by email.

I read it all through (perhaps too late at night) and for some reason got the distinct impression that there was more than one class of listing . Perhaps I was thinking of Trade & Exchange . D'oh! :groan: Why they didn't just say "if your auction expires and you didn't find a buyer" escapes me for the moment . Cheers Billy 8-{) |

2006-05-09 10:28:00 | No, you're right Billy. There are classifieds and auctions (or do you actually know that and are joking? I'm behind on sleep too :P). Classifieds are only for cars and houses and things thoug, not general items. You don't pay the success fee if it doesn't sell, but if you relist it I think you do pay any gallery/bold/feature etc prices. George

2006-05-09 11:00:00 | Thank you George, I wasn't joking! On the strength of that revelation, and validation of my declining intellect and memory capacity, I shall go out and treat my brain cell to a stiff drink. :D Cheers Billy 8-{) Why is it that Help Files don't?
