| 454811 | 2006-05-14 06:02:00 | Hi, I'm on a temp contract. Just some questions, I need to give 5 days notice. But it not say, how much notice the employer need to give. Do they need to give any notice? Also says if pple approach me or if I approach pple for work I need to let my agency know while I am working or 6 months after I finish work or resigned. ? My org who I work for said that I can use his referee and apply to other jobs, does this not contradict my employment agreement? I can only apply to jobs after I am jobless (accordin to my contract)? Thanks. |

| 454812 | 2006-05-14 06:28:00 | have a read here (www.ers.dol.govt.nz) and maybe ask a lawyer.. I seriously doubt that you can have a provision about not applying for other jobs while employed somewhere else. The other provision about Non-Solicitation of Clients is probably reasonable. |
