Some of those errors I wouldnt worry about. You just have to figure out why explorer.exe is crashing BUT does Powerreg appear in add/remove programs?? Did you tick it then tick fix checked in the log? |

| 698108 | 2008-08-24 09:31:00 | I know the cause of some of them as I installed some updates and then uninstalled them 'cos I didn't like them e.g. Windows Search. The only consistent problem is the explorer.exe crashes that are happening very regularly and are driving me mad. I think I'm gonna have to reformat, I may try the Repair Windows option first, but it'll have to wait until next weekend. SO if anyone can think of any causes between now and then I'd be very grateful :) No, PowerReg does not appear in the Add/Remove programs list and yes I did tick it in HijackThis. Lots of errors again today, all explorer.exe related :( |

| 698109 | 2008-08-24 09:50:00 | I have a feeling your hdd is knackered. I would buy another hdd. The hdd has data corruption Did you run chkdisk before for this? The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume C:. |
