697734 2008-08-17 06:21:00 Swing that green duct up out of the way, you will need to push the cabling aside, but it simply swings up, then retake the Picture.

you dont mean This Cable (www.imagef1.net.nz) do you ??

If so thats a spare power cable for other devices, tuck it out the way and forget about it.

No...not that cable. Here is the pic your requested: Attached file: CIMG0009.JPG (www.imagef1.net.nz) (263 KB)

697737 2008-08-17 07:04:00 Are you able to use something like paint to draw a circle or something around the cable you are refering too, before uploading the photo.

Might help us figure out what your refering to :)

697738 2008-08-17 07:19:00 I originally asked where does this cable needs to be attached to: Attached file: CIMG0008.JPG (www.imagef1.net.nz) (76 KB)

I was showing a picture of these two 4 pin (one green and one black on my mother board if it went to one of them. I had posted that I did not think they went to either one because the size was too small to fit.

I am sorry if I have confused anyone...but I was trying to answer everyone the best I could and I think with all of the questions I just confused everyone.

697740 2008-08-17 07:22:00 They are spare power plugs for extra devices the bigger ones are for hard drives, dvd drives etc and the smaller one on the end is for floppy drives gary67 (56)

No worries.

Ok the first connection you showed looks like (can't be sure with pic quality) CD Audio you don't need to plug anything in there.

The set of two connectors in your 2nd photo are power connection, looking at all your photos all your drives are already recieving power so these are simply extras.

697742 2008-08-17 07:30:00 I tried just now to turn it on. I looked in the back and both fans came on. It actually stayed on longer than usual but screen is black and it did beep this time. I am going to try and get another monitor to rule out the black screen...but it did turn itself back off. puffins808 (14043)
