| 698226 | 2008-08-22 10:08:00 | PaulD, I can send and receive emails from my desktop that I am having the problems with Outlook trying to send emails that don't exist. Sorry if I am being dense but I hardly ever go through the YahooXtra website to look at my emails so why do I need to use YahooXtra Pro Mail settings when I almost always use Outlook. |

Outlook is the "POP email client" referred to in Xtra's settings instructions. Outlook gets your mail from/to a YahooXtra server. I have seen reference to email read receipts being one type of outgoing message that doesn't appear in the outbox or sent mail. You could try turning those off. I've no idea why anything would have the wrong outgoing account details if you can otherwise use Outlook OK. |
