That's what the folder is for Use ccleaner to remove them Avast wouldnt make IE close Just scan the hdd with Avast If it doesnt find anything then there's prob with IE If there are any addons for it (IE), one of these maybe crashing it (If its IE 7) |

If you're right-clicking on the recycle bin and choosing 'run cleaner' then that's supposed to happen. It automatically scans and cleans files if you click that and then closes. if you want it to stay open or do it manually, choose "open cleaner" |
